Excursion (extra paid) in University Forest Enterprise Masarykův les Křtiny; Moravian Karst (karst landscape and protected nature reserve to the north of Brno in the eastern part of the Czech Republic); Castle Křtiny (Lunch).  Further details will be announced during the conference. Please take jackets, sweaters, pullovers.

Good to know

Instruction for oral presentations - AULA

Please check the programme for the position (available after 2nd September) and length of your presentation (keynote lecture 30 min + 10 min discussion; oral presentation 15 min + 5 min discussion). Make sure that you talk is upload as early as possible - in the morning or during the coffee breaks. Speakers are requested to hand over their files on a USB stick to the organizing team members at the conference laptop in the lecture hall = aula. Only Powerpoint for Windows files will be accepted. We wish to discourage you from using your own laptop computers, as connecting and disconnecting can be time-consuming and error-prone.

If your talk has special file formats (e.g. videos or Apple presentations) that require the connection of your own computer, please approach one of our team members well before you speach to test the compatibility with the projector.

Instruction for poster presentations -- on the ground floor, on the right from the main faculty entrance

Posters will be displayed throughout the meeting (Monday-Tuesday). Please mount your poster (format A0) at the assigned position (poster numbers will be known during registration). Poster presenters are requested to stand in front of their posters during the poster section. Please do not dismount your poster before the end of the conference.

The organizers regret that they cannot assume liability for any personal accidents, loss of belongings or damage to private property of participants that may occur during the conference.

Language

The official language of the conference is English.
